We focus on the development of coping strategies to empower individuals and the teams that they are a part of. We work to develop effective communication tools that will provide a working system for the team.
PURPOSE
Our purpose is to build strong, healthy mindsets for our clients. We work to develop the power of positivity and coping strategies to support a healthy social emotional state of being for our clients.
METHODS
We utilize experiential learning activities, mindfulness strategies, and body work to achieve our objective. We work with individuals and the collective unit to identify ways that they can grow, be productive, be their true and best self, and be able to contribute to the team in positive ways.

Cynthia A. Quinlan M.S. Ed
FOUNDER
After thirty-one years serving school districts as a teacher then administrator, Cynthia Quinlan is now an education consultant, mindfulness coach, life coach, and nonprofit creator. She earned her B.S. in education at Wagner College where she also played on the women’s basketball team. Her master’s degree was earned at L.I.U. Post and school administration professional certificate at Stony Brook University.
Throughout her career, she has studied social-emotional learning. Affectionately known as ‘Ms. Q’ to her students and staff, she has facilitated workshops, trainings, and committees on the importance of supporting the social emotional growth of children. She established a mindfulness committee which developed restorative practices for staff and students.
With the rise of social media many people struggle to develop a strong sense of self, particularly girls and women. This prompted Cynthia to create L.U.N.A. Reflections Inc., now Powered to THRIVE by L.U.N.A., to address the needs of youth, girls/women and to create a space for them to discover their greatest possibility and/or the next best version of themselves. We all need to know that we are powerful beyond measure and that we can make a positive impact when we are living to our greatest possibility.

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
After earning her B.A. in Biology with a concentration in Digital Arts from Stony Brook University, Sophia Camulaire is now pursuing her Master of Health Administration at Stony Brook’s School of Public Health. With a deep belief in the transformative power of education, she combines science, creativity, and mindfulness to foster environments where learning is accessible, engaging, and restorative.

She designs lessons that adapt to diverse learning styles and uses storytelling, visual design, and active engagement to make complex concepts clear and memorable.
Her creative and technical skills—ranging from curriculum development and educational media design to photography, graphic design, and multilingual communication—allow her to bridge the gap between information and inspiration. A published poet and cultural writer, Sophia believes education is most impactful when it nurtures the whole person, empowering individuals to not only acquire knowledge but also to connect with their unique voice.
